Do your best to be invisible to your prey.....

When hunting coyotes using the method of calling, you are not hunting them, they are hunting you. To be more successful, you must be invisible to them. Making the sound of an animal being ripped apart or in "distress" will cause the predator, whether it may be a coyote, fox, or other, home in on you like a guided missile.
From hundreds of yards away, they will usually have an exact location on the sound of your call...and therefore you. By wearing a good camoflage, it will help you hide from their sight.

Buying camouflage can be a little frustrating at times. If you don't have a store to go to that carries a good line, you may have to get the book out and order. You are best to get what you want the first time you do. I tend to like the reversables with mossy oak on one side and a snow camo on the other. Whatever you do, make sure you find a camo that matches the terrain you hunt in. Get yourself something that will blend in good where you hunt and get yourself something that will keep you warm. It is very hard to sit still if you are freezing. Thinsulate is very warm and that is what fills my camo suite but I find I still need to wear a vest and some real warm clothes underneath in January. Makesure you get yourself a face mask and warm gloves too. If you are hunting in cold weather like I do, then you should buy a mitt with a slit in it to get your finger out for the trigger. Just make sure that you are going to be comfortable and warm in what you buy and that it makes you blend in real good. I didn't forget about boots but figure you have enough sense to wear them. haha
